Now that his celebrated relationships with Tae Heckard and Ashanti have hit the dust and his riff with Floyd Mayweather is picking up steam it appears that Nelly has caught the eye of network execs and their starting to see dollar signs, it’s being reported that the St Louis MC has had the cameras rolling lately documenting all of the madness of his daily life and more as part of his new upcoming untitled reality show on BET that just received the greenlight..
Also heading back to BET is Keyshia Cole who have stacked up enough drama over the past year to land another reality series on the network as well documenting her personal and professional ups and downs, not sure if Frankie and the rest of the rat pack will be joining again but let’s just hope not. “The Untitled Nelly Project,” consisting of eight one-hour episodes, goes into the life of hip hop icon Nelly as he navigates both his business life and his personal life. With his own clothing line, Apple Bottoms, and co-ownership of the Charlotte Bobcats basketball team, Nelly has a lot on his plate in the public eye ..but his personal life, as father to his own and his deceased sister’s children, will also be explored in the series.
“The Untitled Keyshia Cole Project,” consisting of six 30-minute episodes, reintroduces Keyshia Cole following her two previous series, “The Way It Is” and “Family First.” Where previous efforts documented Cole’s relationship strife and eventual success, her new show depicts her role as a wife to NBA player Daniel Gibson and mother, along with the complications and setbacks that come along with those responsibilities. –Variety
