FOUL PLAY: VH1 releases an official statement announcing that they have fired Yung Berg from Love and Hip Hop Hollywood over domestic abuse allegations

The Love & Hip Hop franchise has had a string of violent off-camera altercations between cast members in previous seasons of the show that didn’t result in anyone being kicked off of the show, but now with the news of Ray J and Yung Berg being woman beaters making waves in the news lately VH1 is surprisingly deciding to jump the gun and fire Berg from Love & Hip Hop Hollywood without him even being convicted of what he’s being accused of…

Even if it’s true, it’s no secret that Mona Scott Young and the network still seem to encourage ratchet behavior enough to get it on film for Love & Hip Hop and get rich off of it..but when the sh*t hits the fan and escalates they like to quickly try to distance themselves from the aftermath of the show as if they didn’t play a part instigating the situations for TV.  Peep VH1’s statement on Yung Berg’s termination and more after the jump..

Based on the severity of the allegations against Yung Berg, VH1 is terminating its relationship with him in connection with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, effective immediately. Yung Berg was arrested on November 5th and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing in connection with an assault on fellow cast member Masika Tucker. The arrest took place in a New York hotel several hours after the taping of the reunion special for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood had wrapped. -VH1
