FIRST LOOK: Do you know how to Double-dutch? The hit series ‘Bring It’ gives birth to the new Lifetime reality show ‘Jump’

Do you know how to double-dutch? To my fellow smokers no it doesn’t mean to double up on green in a Dutchmaster cigar, well not at this moment at least.. But if it sounds foreign to you then just think of it as a game of jump-rope on steroids.

At some point in our childhood most of us have witnessed the little girls on the playground playing double-dutch for the entire recess hour while popping bubblegum and getting sassy with all of the boys whenever our ball went out-of-bounds and interrupted their session, well the Lifetime is looking to capitalize off that nostalgia with their new reality series ‘Jump’ that’s set to light up the screen this Spring. Get your first look below..

Lifetime’s all-new docu-series “Jump!,” chronicles the journey of one of the hottest jump roping teams in the country, Floyd Little Double Dutch (FLDD), as they compete to defend their championship titles. Known as the face of Double Dutch, the team performed at the White House Easter celebration and opened up the 2014 BET Awards with Pharrell and Missy Elliot.

Premiering Friday, April 10, at 10pm ET/PT, “Jump!” provides an inside look at the international competitive event filled with tricks, turns, tears and triumphs, and examines what it really takes to make it as the fiercest team in the country. -Lifetime
