Transgendered socialite Amiyah Scott & actress Kim Fields spotted filming for RHOA Season 8

Vh1 opened the flood gates by casting a couple of gay rappers as leads for Season 2 of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, and now Bravo also wants to capitalize off of the rainbow wave and raise the bar a bit more by quickly casting transgendered socialite Amiyah Scott for Season 8 of Real Housewives Of Atlanta alongside actress Kim Fields.

Scott’s exact role on the show has yet to be confirmed by the network, but both newbies were spotted filming for the series recently according to reports..

Producers of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” have figured out a way to fill the shoes NeNe Leakes and it starts with the first transgender woman to appear on the show. TMZ has learned that Amiyah Scott will join the cast next season.

Amiyah is a model who was born Arthur and began her transformation 10 years ago when she was 17. Amiyah has been romantically linked to a number of rappers. The show is also adding Kim Fields from “Facts of Life.” –TMZ
