VH1 must’ve milked the entire Love & Hip Hop New York Season 6 production budget to convince Papoose and Remy Ma to join the cast, and with the remaining bread crumbs and peanuts that were leftover in their pockets they decided to just go grab some Instagram models and unknown underground artists to fill-out the roster..
Unfortunately viewers will have to suffer through another season of Peter Gunz, Tara Wallace, and Amina Buddafly’s dead storyline and more from Rich Dollaz as he tackles fatherhood, also returning will be fan-favorites Yandy, Mendecees, Cisco, and Rashida Ali, but it looks like Chink Santana, Cyn Santana, Chrissy Monroe, Diamond Strawberry, Precious Paris and Jhonni Blaze were all given the boot back to skid row. With personalities as strong as their rhymes, Mariah Lyn, Young B (of “Chicken Noodle Soup” fame) and SexxyLexxy and MissMoeMoney from the rap duo BBOD battle to make themselves heard.
Newcomer DJ Self from New York radio station Power 105.1 bursts into “Love & Hip Hop” as we follow his relationship with Yorma, one of the hottest dancers in New York City, and their tangled web of drama. Firecracker and Instagram sensation Cardi B. leaps from the pages of IG to the small screen with a bang! It’s certain this tough cookie will deliver raw and real emotion as she entangles with her fellow cast members. -VH1
