Instead of folks continually putting Power and Empire against each other to battle it out over who’s copying who, I think that both shows should be equally embraced and celebrated since its more than enough room for two successful Black urban drama’s to be on the air at one time. Once the premiere season of Empire starts to cool down later this Spring you can expect Power to carry on the torch through the rest of the Summer when they kick off Season 2..
