SWV releases a statement in response to the cancellation of their WeTV reality series ‘SWV Reunited’

If you were looking forward to seeing Coko, LeLee, and Taj hit your television screens again with a fresh season of their reality show ‘SWV Reunited’, then you may be a little disappointed to find out that WeTV has laid down the hammer on the series and has pulled it from its line-up. With new hit shows such as Cutting It In The ATL and Selling It In The ATL now setting up shop on the network, I guess it’s safe to assume that producers have lost interest in filming the songbirds as they continue to dwell over issues from 20 years ago..

Maybe a different network like BET will give the show a second look, but with or without a reality show the celebrated R&B group takes pride in the fact that they will still remain legends in the music game.. Check out their farewell statement below..

We have received your tweets, Facebook posts, and Instagram replies inquiring about the return of SWV: Reunited. After months of waiting in limbo with minimal communication with the network it is with regret that we officially announce the cancellation of SWV: Reunited on WeTV. We would like to thank WeTV for giving us the opportunity. We want to thank each and every one of you who supported our show and continue to support the SWV brand.

Your love and support has carried our dream of creating quality music for over 23 years. This is not the end by any means! SWV has a new single out now, Aint No Man, with a second single on the way entitled MCE (Man Crush Everyday), followed by an incredible new album Still…SWV due 2/15/15. Stay tuned because the best is yet to come! Still, Coko, Lelee, & Taj -SWV Facebook
