After getting cancelled by VH1 ‘Single Ladies’ finds a new home on another network for Season 4

The nightmare that is ‘Single Ladies’ was stabbed a few times by VH1 and put out of its misery not too long ago but just like any other bad dream the series is set to return yet again… without Stacey Dash :|.. If you’re a fan of cliché subject matters and a bunch of storylines revolving around Atlanta’s pretentious culture of wannabe’s and condescending fakes who shamelessly bed hop around town, then this news should surely put a smile on your face..

Being that the south is country as hell the show’s efforts to try to pass ATL off as another high-end NYC or Los Angeles fell on deaf ears and blind eyes as viewers started to hop off of the ‘Single Ladies’ train throughout Season 3 leading VH1 to drop kick the series off of their block and on down to the hood to a new network to revive itself...

-LA Times reports;

Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment company, which produces “Single Ladies,” is developing an all-new fourth season as part of a new exclusive programming partnership with BET Networks’ Centric, which is being positioned as the first network aimed at black females. Under the deal, Flavor Unit, which is owned by Latifah and her partner Shakim Compere, will produce new shows in addition to “Single Ladies” for the network.

Casting for the new season is still up in the air. The VH1 show starred LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea and Denise Vasi, but it is unclear if any of the cast members would return. The third-season finale aired last month. As part of the deal, Centric also will start airing episodes of Queen Latifah’s syndicated daytime talk show, which premiered last year to solid ratings, in prime time. (LATimes)
