As VH1 and the Lifetime network continues to cash-in off of the legacies of some of our most highly regarded entertainers by popping out cheap low-budget flicks in their honor every now and then, it appears that they plan to keep the momentum going with the release of their upcoming Whitney Houston movie in January and a soulful holiday flick that’s dedicated to R&B legends ‘EnVogue’ titled ‘An EnVogue Christmas’..
But don’t expect to see Maxine and Dawn in the mix since the movie clumsily only features 2 of the groups original members, it’s sorta like their having ‘A Cindy & Terry Christmas’ without EnVogue..

Over the years, the funky divas of En Vogue have gone their separate ways, until they are asked to perform a benefit concert to save the club that made them stars. They put aside their hesitations to reunite for the special night, but first must overcome their challenging history with Marty, their former manager and the man responsible for breaking them up. In the spirit of the holidays, the ladies find forgiveness and come together for an epic En Vogue Christmas concert to keep the club from closing its doors forever. Stars Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron, Rhona Bennett as themselves and features some of En Vogue’s biggest hits and two new original songs. Genelle Williams also stars. -Lifetime
