Soul singer Kelly Price have been receiving some serious backlash from her antics on R&B Divas LA and she has now stepped forward to address her actions and she is hitting back hard at her critics with a few choice words of her own..
Kelly Price was seen on the show pulling out a jar of Vaseline and some Timberland boots while beefing with the other ladies over the direction of her “Not-Yo-Momma’s Monologues” that were supposed to star Lil Mo, Dawn Robinson, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le but didn’t quite end up that way, Kelly and Dawn went on to perform the show on their own leaving the remaining ladies to their own resources. Well Kelly is ultimately blaming editing for her portrayal and takes zero responsibility for her actions, she also lashes out at her “disloyal” fans..
“You see me pull the Vaseline out, you see me pull the boots out. You don’t even see my face when the word straight edge comes out because, not only did I not have a straight edge that day, I didn’t say straight edge that day. But, it was me that said straight edge. It was a separate conversation where I was talking about what my props were going to be in the monologue. So, that was an audio clip that was edited.” -Kelly Price
