Mona Scott Young gets hit with a $50 million dollar copyright infringement lawsuit for stealing the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ concept

Mona Scott Young was just karate kicked upside the dome with a $50 million dollar copyright infringement lawsuit from 8th Wonder Entertainment with claims that she jacked them for the whole “Love & Hip Hop” concept which was originally supposed to be called “Hip Hop Wives” featuring the ex-wives of rappers…

Apparently before ‘Love & Hip Hop’ was birthed, Chrissy Lampkin along with DMX’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons and Swizz Beat’s ex Mashonda brought the “Hip Hop Wives” idea to VH1 with 8th Wonder Entertainment backing them, but they made a big mistake by providing the script and storylines to Mona Scott Young and the network who then allegedly stole the concepts and developed them into what is now known as “Love & Hip Hop”…

Chrissy later went on to film “Chrissy & Mr Jones” while  Tashera Simmons hopped on board the “Starter Wives Confidential” train, Mashonda is still at the top of the wish-list of many reality show producers but she’s yet to find her home on the small screen.  Vh1, Viacom, and Mona Scott Young are among many names listed in association with the massive lawsuit.
